For over twenty years, Ingrid has worked as a designer creating digital experiences for the television media, auto industry and education technology. She enjoys each phase of a project. At onset, her curiosity drives information gathering and discovery activities. Diving into design ideation, logical thinking and creativity inspire her to make sense of complex tasks and find solutions to problems. She relishes opportunities for workshopping and user testing as these activities provide opportunities for human interaction; a welcome contrast to desktop work. For Ingrid, synthesizing artifacts, research, design iterations, use cases and data for the final product is gratifying and rewarding.
I've been fortunate to work with talented developers, super-organized project managers, and amazing designers and creative directors. I've learned much from my colleagues, and seen how far a team can go that values communication, commitment, collaboration and a few good laughs.
When not attached to her laptop, she’ll be in the garden coaxing the vegetables to grow and inventing new ways to keep the slugs away, training for the Chelan Man Sprint Triathlon and taking her English Setter on walks.
